Some other points that stand out from this report:

  • Tech sector employment for June 2021 hit 4.75 million, reaching March 2020 levels for the first time since then.
  • Software developer (applications) was the most sought-after role in June, with 93,600 open jobs. IT support specialist was a distant second with 26,900.
  • Deloitte and Accenture are the two most active tech employers, hiring for a respective 5,906 and 5,164 technical workers in June.
