Leaders from government, academia and business met with the Brookings Institute at Carnegie Mellon University to discuss how larger public policies affect on-the-ground city and neighborhood revitalization. Programs like the CHIPS Act and the Southwest Pennsylvania New Economy Collaborative provide the resources local startups need to maximize impact. “Make no mistake,” CMU President Farnam Jahanian said, “place-based economic growth has a key role to play in advancing our national security and economic competitiveness.” https://lnkd.in/gKCFSJbF #Pittsburgh #CHIPSact #IndustrialInnovation #LocalLeaders
