EveryAction acquired the BSD Tools division from Blue State Digital

D.C.-based nonprofit software provider EveryAction announced that it has acquired the BSD Tools division from strategic and creative nonprofit partner Blue State Digital, making this its third acquisition in six weeks.

The suite of tools joining EveryAction’s digital offerings includes tools that have helped advance nonprofits, advocacy groups, political campaigns and brands, a press release states, like pre-filling form features, conversational tools for nonprofits to interact, and a one-click contribution system. With this acquisition, BDS Tools clients will also gain access to EveryAction’s nonprofit-focused customer relations management platform, which is curated to work for small and large organizations.

“We’re delighted to see the product we developed join the impressive and innovative digital and other EveryAction tools that power the causes we care about,” said Blue State Digital CEO and founder Joe Rospars, in a statement. “As organizers, creatives, and fundraisers we’re excited to make use of this unique multi-channel offering.”

Outside of the toolset being sold, Blue State Digital will continue to offer its other agency services.

EveryAction also acquired nonprofit digital solutions provider ActionKit on May 8 and closed on its acquisition of DonorTrends, a company that helps nonprofits fund raise, on June 6.

CoStar Group acquires Off Campus Partners

CoStar Group has acquired Charlottesville, Virginia-based Off Campus Partners (OCP), a student housing listing service.

The D.C.-based commercial real estate information provider’s founder and CEO, Andrew Florance, said in a press release that this acquisition gives CoStar the opportunity to partner with more universities. The company also wants to bring in more advertisers, specifically small independent owners since that’s where majority of OCP’s advertisements come from.

“We are excited to become part of CoStar Group and the very successful Apartments.com network,” said OCP President James Jones in a statement. “This is an outstanding opportunity to expand what we have developed to service more students and universities across North America.”

CoStar is also the parent company for Apartments.com, a leading apartment marketing site. With this acquisition, CoStar will leverage OCP’s university partnerships to expand its college student services on the site, since OCP currently has 132 university partnerships.

Peraton Corp. acquires Solers

Herndon, Virginia-based government tech contractor Peraton Corp. has acquired Solers, an Arlington-based provider of space defense and cybersecurity software. With this deal, Peraton will expand its offerings on end-to-end solutions across national security, civilian agency and space ground programs, a press release states.

“Peraton’s transformational acquisition of Solers will accelerate the company’s presence in the high-priority, emerging space and communications markets,” Ramzi Musallam, CEO and managing partner of Peraton’s parent company Veritas Capital, said in a statement. “This combination will create a differentiated platform, strengthening Peraton’s ability to provide mission-critical services and solutions to its dynamic customer base.”

DXC Technology completed acquisition of Luxoft Holding

Tysons-based IT company DXC Technology has completed its acquisition of Luxoft Holding Inc., a global digital strategy and engineering firm. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

DXC entered into a deal with Luxloft in January, with a commitment to close by the year’s second quarter. The deal officially closed on June 14, adding Luxoft’s expertise in digital engineering and adding more digital offerings to DXC overall.

This acquisition comes a few months after DXC acquired Denmark-based EG A/S, integrator of Microsoft Dynamics 365, a collection of intelligent business applications, in the Nordic region.
